I'm just happy they took that stuff off of the castle. All they have to do now is remove the mirror.
according to acp, the mirror was taken down yesterday or the day before. see his thread that announces he's a cast member.
as far as the prizes, is this something they're just doing in the MK, or will they be going through all 4 parks? also, any idea as to how many prizes a day they'll be giving away?
either way, I hope at least 1 of the 3 or 4 of us that are going in december will get something. that way, whoever does can give a report of how they got it and what they got...

They took the mirror down? Great!! I was there on Sunday and it was still there. I'm so glad it's back to it's original glory.
I was told that the prizes are being given away in all 4 parks.

I know they say Ladies first but this time I may have to disagree,
I would love the walking around the parks with no one around. If I had the choice to win anything in my life I would have to say this would be one of the front runners in the decision.

For shame, doctor! I do believe this is the one time when that old saying really applies.
So I gather that a cast member just comes up to you and says that all your dreams have now come true. There are big prizes like the golden fastpass and staying in the castle and all, but they say that there are over a million prizes. What are the smaller ones?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Everyone wins with the dreams deal!
we saw so many dreams being given out on our trip. Wendy joined some kids for a front row seating of Philharmagic, another family was awarded seats of their choice for a viewing of Philharmagic. I saw special trips going around Tom Sawyer Island on the river raft for families, fast pass specials galore! i watched a family recieve a special fast pass coupon that allowed them up to 8 or so fast pass's of thier choice in any park. they just go through the fast pass line and the CM takes a small tab off. Another Family recieved their entire meal paid for at the Liberty Tavern. One of the neatest was one we got to share with another family. We were heading into Animal Kingdom at 3:30 and it closed that day at 5. some people saw us heading in and stopped us...they gave us their fast pass that covered every ride as many times as they liked for that day. we thanked them as they boarded the bus out. We have a daughter with Autism so we have a Special Assistance pass that does the same thing already...so what we did was looked for a family of 4 and stopped them..explained how it worked and went into the park. We ran into the family about 5-6 times on different rides they were so thankful. I was so happy to see that others were willing to share with us without even knowing us. We need to continue this way without Disney being the core.

WOW!!! Croaker... that sounded like a blast. I made a Forum on this topic and didn't realize it was already here.
So I just want to clarify.
You can win prizes by just being at the parks?
Is there a special day it all happens like on weekends or is it everyday?
Does each park have their own Million Wishes to grant or is it only within the entire resort?
I saw the prize of sleeping in the castle overnight... is that the best prize?
What are other great prizes?
What the lowest prize that can be won?
I know I have alot of questions but I'm so excited for this event!!
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?
We can't you old fool, WE'RE BOLTED TO THE SEATS!!!

kicked off October 1st.! i was pumped...even though we didn't win anything. my suggestion to those that are looking to win something...go early in the morning and directly to an attraction..that seemed to be where they were giving them out. (at least to those i asked.)

JEEEEZ!!! It seems like Disney is hiding a lot of info just so we won't find the scams

We're going in Jan. and have thought about making shirts up that say something like "Disney Dreamer" on the back--hoping to draw attention from the Dream Squad--I know, very corny, but I really want to win! My husband thinks we should be more direct, and have them simply say, "pick me!"

A few of the websites have said they've been out in full force for the last few weeks, and handing out golden fast passes left and right. A night in the castle would be awesome, but I think I'd prefer the round the world trip, too, or even a DVC membership--guaranteed trips every year? That's a good one!

I was there in October and there were quite a few families who tried the same thing.
While talking to one of the monorails gate attendants, he mentioned that a lot of the prizes"dreams" such as pins etc are being given out of things such as good deeds and so on. For example; while witing for the jungle parade at AK, there were a couple young girls who were making a pile on the ground out of fallen leaves and twigs. When a CM asked them what they were making, they replaied by stating it was a nest for a bird. The CM then awarded then with a set of Tinkerbell pins.

I always pick up trash like the CM's always do when they are just walking around, so maybe in DEC I will get something. It didn't work in OCT but hey can't be everytime right.

If they catch you cleaning up a "protien spill" I think it's a sure thing!
