Compare the AP rates to the rate you are paying for your room and park passes. Sometimes it is cheaper to go with the purchasing an AP just for the discounts. Then, purchase the DDE card. The savings of an AP rate plus the DDE many times is lower than a package deal.

That's what we've done for the past 5 years. :D :D And so glad DDE was made available for AP'ers last year.
