it's a live version, which I don't think is a 100% complete ride through.

Yeah i have seen both shows and they are both great, but you are right i have seen more of the gangster one than the western, i thought it had to do with what vehicle you were in most of the time i'm in the first one.

Since my daughters were ALWAYS much more entertained by the Gangsters, I have to go that route......Both could use freshening though.

I love the gangster version when it's done right. The accents and the smart alec attitudes always get me. Sadly though, there have only been a few times that our "hijacker" really seems into it. Too many times I get a person that just seems kind of bored and just says the lines.

But when they go all out it's great!

I agree with this statement entirely. They used to run more western trams years ago when I believe they'd send two cars (each with a driver) at once and the lead car would go right through gangland and into the west with the second car being stopped at the redlight. I think that the gunfight in the gangsters is better, but the cowboy scene does have that big explosion; although I don't really like the heat it throws off when being seated so close. I love a good gangster though. We just rode GMR on the 4th of July but the gangster lady didn't seem much into it nor audible, even with the mic, so it wasn't that great.

I like the Western version better...partly because all the Gangsters I've had can't act... :D

i love the western scene due to the fire and explosion. you get the gunfire in both but you get that little bit extra with this scene.
