2007 Dining plan... lots of Changes
Found this flyer

Gone are Japan, Mexico, and France from EPCOT.
Also gone is Coronado Springs (Can't see how they could book these packages and have no meals at a resort...Probably will change)
All Downtown Disney gone except Capn' Jacks
New character meals are added, notably Hollywood and Vine, O'hana Breakfast.
Might change some minds. Still enough to choose but no Coronado....

Have the Dining Packages been good to add on? I've never had it. My family and I have always just did WDW without, but I might go with some friends this year and am curious about it.

Well...... I can't say that I won't miss Mexico... but France & Japan? Hm...... maybe it's due to lack of reservations. (Not that the food wasn't good, I wouldn't mind going back to the restaurant in France one more time.)
I hope they didn't take both restaurants in the Japan section; I really did like the Tempura! (I'm still not brave enough to try the sushi.)

Thank you, Walt, for making animation what it is today.
I'm very surprised about the deletion of most of the World Showcase sit down establishments. I'm sure Disney will be getting an earful from fans of DDP.

I would guess the move is to push guests toward the buffets, which turn people over quickly. I don't think I would chose Biergarten over Teppanaki if its paid for. They did not remove Le Cellier, which is a DDP home run.
Change always grabs your attention, but you have to make the most of it whenever you travel.

It's been a whilesince I've been there but I always felt that TEppanaki was just like most Japanese steakhouses anywhere, including the multitude of them around Kissimmee, but with a higher price tag than average and the loss of an evening of dining at any number of great EPCOT restaurants. Oh well.
