Honestly I don't think they would base an entire land or park out of villians. No offense but the idea doesn't seem to be strong enough to have good enough attractions. Also it wouldn't go with the theme of WDW. You see, WDW is literally based on Walt himself. The four pakr represent his passions. MK for fantasy Epcot for innovations MGM for film and AK for passion of animals!
catch my drift?? 8)

Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

While that's a neat way to look at the parks in retrospect, Just Believe, I think you'd be hard pressed to find any evidence that the two parks Walt had nothing to do with... MGM and AK... were "literally based on Walt himself"... Their design and construction were the decisions of a corporation who saw a need in their theme park division, and filled the need.

thanks...
i always try and look at things in the disney theme parks in a symbolic fashion
people always say disney imagineers are always putting extra details in the parks... maybe that might be one of those extra details

I remember visiting a Villain Store in The Studios in 2000. We were on our way to Fantasmic! and the sign caught my eye. I bought a very cool pen set, and ogled a pewter chess set, but, of course, its price kept it there.
Interesting idea of a park dedicated to the villains. Would all of the CMs be instructed to be rude?

I have friends that are CMs and they can smile through almost anything. It's amazing what they truely put up with. I know cast members that would pay to be able to be RUDE!!!!I know! Wouldn't that just blow your mind?
People would line up from here to Hawaii to see that!

Maybe they could have a ride that rude visitors could go on - one where Aladdin could lock them in shackles in a bottle for a year or two, or Shere Khan could bite them in the behind.

I'd bet the farm you will never see a major themed villian area. It just wouldn't mesh family-wise. I cant see a fifth gate either anytime soon, all of the resources will be to boost the current parks. Dining Plan, extra magic hours and value resorts are designed to get you on property and keep you there. If anything villian happens, I'd bet on a broadway type show.
Personally, I would guess MGM to be the next in line for a major addition. The new pixar deal seems a natural fit for that park.

I disagree. Stuff like Fantasmic! and the Boo-To-You Halloween parade show that Disney knows how to do villainy without going overboard. Well, their movie villains, at least... lest we forget Alien Encounter (which I loved, but darn, try being under about 15 going on that thing... yikes...)bribren wrote:I'd bet the farm you will never see a major themed villian area.
