Yeah I saw a family there that did some great costumes of their own. Let me see if I can find the Picture.

Found it. There's a chimmney sweep, Indiana Jones, One of the knights who say NEE, Cave Girl?, Elvis, not sure what the little guy is maybe a diver, and of course Madam Leota. It got really fogged up in that hampster ball.

I gotta give props to the Monty Python reference there. That's great. And the Madam Leota would've been cool if the ball was "floating" above the table a bit (like the DL edition is supposed to be now, I think)

Yeah that was actually the reason I took the picture of the family. If the ball was flying they would have to have the little girls head floating too. If you look closely you can see the outline of her head. The table was in two parts, basically cut in half.

yeah, but the floating effect wouldn;t be too hard. just have to wear a black turtle neck right up to the chin and then have the table rest on the shoulders.

It is well worth it for several reasons:

1. The Candy
2. More Candy
3. The Special fireworks
4. The ride of the headless horseman is awesome
5. Candy ofcourse
6. All of the lighting they do is great.
7. did I mention the Candy!

The atmosphere during MNSSHP is amazing. Sometimes it is less crowded than normal nights, and you can stay until midnight so it is pretty empty at the end. Also the temperature is lower by the end too.

When we went last time we stayed with a friend and we weighed our sacks(me ,DS2&DW) 15 POUNDS of candy between the 3 of us!!

We had gobs of Pixie Sticks.Sent some to school to rid of them!!! They give out good stuff too like M&Ms and Milk Ways!

I couldn't eat most of it so I gave it out at work. I didn't have anything to weigh it with but I had two full bags the first night and the second night I filled my large messanger bag. I must have gone through the candy gauntlet, the area back by the toon fair thing that I never go to anyway.

I went to this in 2004 when I was living down there, and I found the entire candy situation to be extremely lame. I couldn't believe how stingy they were with it at the candy stations :(

On a side note though...the Headless Horseman ride was COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!!! It lasted about 5 secs as he blew past, but it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen at WDW.

You must have not stayed to late. At the candy stations between Toontown and Tomrrowland (Alice's Tea Party Area) they where dumping boxes of chocolate in our bags. We where at the October 16, 2004 party. We've been to a whole bunch of them, for quite a few years and the CM's have been anything but Stingy! I guess you have to know which station to go to.

They weren't stingy with me. They gave me hand fulls of the stuff, and not just the little chocolate eggs either this was snickers, milkway, babe Musketeer, etc.
