We usually only have about a week as well, but manage to slip in some resort hopping. It's a nice thing to do on a first or last day at WDW, when you don't want to waste a day on your Park Hopper. It's also pretty easy to slip in a visit to a resort on the monorail line, or to take a boat to WL, Boardwalk, or Yacht and Beach Club from the parks.
Yea, but we usually do Disney Quest and DTD the first day. Plus with water parks and the Universals it's a handful :( Although I'm not complaining really, it's a burden I do not mind :P
