Anybody miss Hunchback show other than me?

Post by jkm8113 » May Wed 04, 2005 1:59 pm

I loved that show and was so sad when they shut it down. I thought they would replace it with something else, but I honestly think that was the first thing that made me realize tha corners were being cut at WDW.

The juggler pre-show was really fun to watch, too.

Loved it and I really miss it. I'd rather have it than the new auto stunt show. :(

Can't say I liked anything about the Hunchback - that was one of those movies that I don't care for so I wasn't exactly dissapointed to see it leave... I can't remember, did they get rid of the stage area now? For some reason I thought it was still standing but just vacent and wasn't touched by the LMA work.

The movie wasn't that great, but they did one fine job with the stage show at MGM. I saw it every trip when it was there, sometimes more than once a trip.

I was not crazy about this show. I thought it seemed like it was thrown together at the last moment & not well planned out.

I think I miss the idea of a show more than the show itself. Id like to see a Festival of the Lion King type show there....

I enjoyed the movie and the show. Wish they'd bring it back.

I miss them just using the area for something other than storage.

It's funny I remember the show, but can't remember where it was located.

Okay, I'm going to take that old comment back. Having seen the Lights Motors Action now, I can say that it is an amazing show! I still really miss Hunchback, and I'll have really fond memories of it for life.

Oh yes, I miss this show. I only saw it once in November, 2000. We all loved the pre-show. We were so disappointed when we went in November, 2002 and it was gone. Was it having a problem with attendance?

I think it was more of a cost thing than an attendance thing - it closed during the downturn after the 9/11 attacks I believe.
