What are the best themed Cast Member costumes at the Disney parks? My favorites are Tower of Terror and the Haunted Mansion - totally the coolest and best themed. 8)

I would have to say those are my favorites as well. My other favorite would be The Great Movie Ride.

ToT, HM, and I would say some of the World Showcase CMs. They have some beautiful traditional clothing and stuff.

Haunted Manison! I love the victorian themed maid and butler costumes!

Some of the Epcot costumes are cool as well. Like the Geishas in the Japanese Restaurant!

I would agree with the HM and ToT. They really add to the atmosphere, and I don't even notice the costumes on some rides. I also like the costumes worn by the servers at the Liberty Tree Tavern.

As a somewhat related subject, I actually have one of the tops worn by castmembers in the older Universe of Energy show (complete with the Exxon patch on the sleeve). I liked the older version much better. The one that had "Feel The Flow" as the closing song. So, I grabbed the shirt off of ebay a year or so ago.

Wow, I never thought of looking for stuff like that on ebay. That is too cool. I'm going to need to go check that out. Good idea!!!!

There's actually quite a bit on ebay. Once you're at the main ebay page, select "Collectibles", then "Disneyana", then "Contemporary", then look under "Cast Member Exclusives". You may even want to search under the "Disneyana" topic using "costume" as your search word. I've also gotten cast member polos, etc. Good luck !!

As far as costumes go, some of the older Future World costumes ranked right up there in the cheesy category. The ones they wear on SSE are pretty bland.

I don't remember the SSE costumes, what did they look like? I always like the costumes they wore in the World Showcase. And old Imagination, those were cool too.

I have to agree that the HM have the best costumes.....plus they get to scare guests!
