When you turn off the radio in the car for a few minutes of silence and find yourself singing a Disney song anyhow

I actually do this for all the parks, so I technically go beyond the WDW Nut.

One of my piano families has a new puppy. They are training him to leave things alone by telling him "Mine" when he is chewing on something he shouldn't. He loves my shoes and shoelaces, so when we were talking after my student's lesson last night, he was stalking my shoes and nipping at the laces. Julie was telling him, "Mine. Mine. Mine." I joined in so hopefully he will learn to listen to me too, "Mine. Mine. Mine." I looked at Julie and told her we sounded like the seagulls in Finding Nemo

I was poking around the internet this evening and ended up looking at some photos of the Lilly Belle train car in DL. Imagine my surprise when I found something familiar in one of the pictures...

F1gment has these exact tables in her bedroom

They are part of a set that includes a table and they are to be mine someday. I will have to satisfy my curiosity if we are lucky enough to get a spin on the Lilly Belle ~ our tables' marble tops aren't connected to the base. I would guess that this particular table's top is, otherwise it might slide off with the clickity clack of the train cars over time. I would have to give the marble top a little lift, just to see!

I made pancakes this morning in the shape of Mickey ears

On one of our trips we bought some pancake forms in the shape of Mickey. They're frustrating, though, because the pancakes often stick to them, so making Mickey pancakes is a negative, not a positive for me.

I've seen those shaped pans. Never was tempted to get those though as I thought it might be hard to cook in them. Nice thing is that Mickey is only 3 circles, so it isn't too hard to free-form them

Yeah free-form is where it's at. The thing I'm talking about is more of a "ring" that sits on the griddle or bottom of the skillet.

I actually bought one of those too... I tried it and it was too hard. So I free form it also, one bigger circle and two ears... lol sometimes they come out great! The key I have found is don't make them too big. But what I really want is a Mickey Waffler

Oh, like an egg circle form, except a Mickey...yeah, I could see that being sticky. I never understood how the batter wouldn't run out from under the mold too...maybe we just have not so straight bottomed pans

Ooooo, a Mickey waffler ~ now that would be nice!
