MK 2005 Entrance Loop plays Imagination Pavilion Area Music?

I'm hoping someone can help explain why Disney started off the 2005-Present Magic Kingdom Entrance Loop (which you can request here at SR) with the Imagination Pavilion area music, or at least part of it. To my knowledge, none of the attractions that were in Epcot's Imagination Pavilion were ever moved to MK or even referenced there, so I'm not quite sure why it would be in the entrance loop. I am fairly positive as the other day the MK 2005-present entrance loop was played and then a short while later, the Epcot entrance loop was played and it had the same track in both. For as much as I listen to the music, I am fairly confident that they are the same. I picked it up right away when I heard the MK loop, but wanted to wait until I heard the Epcot loop again to verify, and sure enough, that same track was in both!

Well, they are all at the WDW resort...I don't believe I have heard the MK entrance loop lately, but I will be sure to listen closely the next time it plays. Maybe it was the sound engineer's favorite track and he put it in simply because he or she could? But I think it is more likely that they don't differentiate too much as long as it is music they use at the parks.

There was even a MK loop many, many years ago that played Roger Rabbit music from the car-toon spin ride at DL, and Phantom Manor and Visionarium music from DLP. The loop from 2005 is not being played any more at WDW MK.

Also, you are wrong about none of the attractions being moved from EPCOT's Imagination Pavilion to the MK. The first time I ever saw the 3D "Magic Journeys" film was AFTER it was moved from EPCOT to MK. It was one of many attractions that inhabited that spot after the Mickey Mouse Revue moved out and before the Philharmagic moved in permanently.

Yep, you are totally correct. Forgot about Magic Journeys. I believe the track that is played on the MK loop is related to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience though, which replaced Magic Journeys, so when I said nothing from Epcot was moved to MK, I more or less meant from that point, on, but I wasn't clear! Thanks though..I forgot about Magic Journeys!

Yes, HISTA was on that same loop with the others related to DL and DLP. I think the loop was meant to be a "global" playlist with items that could be find at a MK somewhere world wide. HISTA was at MK for both DL and TDL at some point.
