some funny stuff i found...
  • The Disney film Mary Poppins (1964) was shot entirely indoors.
  • In March 2000, the Disney company reversed its 43 year ban on mustaches for its theme park employees.
  • Donald Duck comics were nearly banned years ago in Finland because he didn't wear trousers.

That was a HUGE point of contention when it happened. I was working at MKGR, and I remember Cast town hall meetings with the park GM and VP discussing this change to the "Disney Look." Purists were not happy. Although, looking back on it, what difference did it really make? Before that happened, it was always a joke among us CMs that Walt couldn't even have worked in his own parks!

The mustache thing is a funny point. I'm in the Pudue All-American Marching Band, and we have the same rules as the Disney Look basically. They would have outlawed mustaches...but our director has one.
