Let's hope anyone who is high risk votes "absolutely." For me, however, "no way!" For those to whom the warnings do not apply, the attraction is totally unique and not to be missed.

I love mission space and will continue to ride it over an over again!
People need to start reading the warming signs and use some common sense. The warning are there for a reason.

I am one who has never ridden, due to the warnings. I'm in great health, but prone to migraines and motion sickness, and I just don't want to tempt my body to disobey itself. LOL!
I was toying with the idea of trying dramamine before going on it in a couple of weeks, but when they posted another death, just decided to sit this one out. I get enough thrill seeking elsewhere. I do think the ride is well engineered and an amazing experience, but not for me.

I've been in enough centrifuges to know what is what. If you usually get motion sickness, but you really want to experience Mission Space...here's the trick. Yes, take some dramamine. Also make sure that when you experience the ride...listen to all of the instructions carefully and follow them. A lot of people who get sick, get sick because they try looking around, or moving their head while the ride is operating. Now, I'm no doctor, so don't sue me if you still get sick, but I used to get motion sickness all the time. Now I can ride these rides all the time.

This is a good point. The CMs give pretty specific instructions before the ride, and that's for a good reason -- to give you the best experience possible. Keeping focused and not looking around during the ride is important.FlatlandMounty wrote: Also make sure that when you experience the ride...listen to all of the instructions carefully and follow them. I'm one of those people that just can't help getting motion sick, so I sit this one out. I would try dramamine, but even the "less sleepy" type makes me really tired. It's not worth it for me! In addition to that, I really don't know that I want to put that much stress on my body. I know I'm a wuss, but what can I say? I'll just wander over to Rio Del Tiempo while waiting for the rest of my party.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I love riding theis one. The feel of those G's on you is just fantastic. I feel really sorry for all those people unable to experience it due to motion sickness etc. I can see why the safety warnings are needed though and if people don't follow those warnings things can clearly go really badly. I don't think that everyone should stop riding just because a few people didn't take the safety warning seriously!
