Yeah, probably not really a big draw to see a copy of Ayers Rock. The real thing is amazing, but a duplicate...nah.Sharonofwindham wrote:Trying to thnk of something to do with Ayers Rock....got nothin'

Especially because it would be scaled down, so it would just be ... a rock.Amy wrote:Yeah, probably not really a big draw to see a copy of Ayers Rock. The real thing is amazing, but a duplicate...nah.Sharonofwindham wrote:Trying to thnk of something to do with Ayers Rock....got nothin'

The appeal of Australia is its wildness. I don't know how that could be put into a tame tourist attraction and still be authentic. But it would be really cool.

you guys are forgetting the obvious Sydney Opera House!
And then add some big rocks around the site with petroglyphs and stuff.

I was thinkin' more on the lines of doing something with the rock like "the Tree of Life"Amy wrote:Yeah, probably not really a big draw to see a copy of Ayers Rock. I couldn't see the rock as an attraction.. but I could see it being used ad part of the architecture, part of the background of the land , like a panorama of Australia or something.

Good point, and they might have exhausted a lot of their arctic themed stuff at Blizzard Beach. Still, might be a fun idea of the next big expansion/update.Sharonofwindham wrote: It would certainly be a great place to cool off. I can only imagine what Disney could do with an area like this...i'm guessing it would be pretty incredible. Don't suppose they will do anything else before or at the same time as Avatar though

I would have to say EPCOT. Why you ask? It just has something to do with being transported to all the different countries whilst still being in Florida. They do it so perfectly. One of my favorite places at EPCOT would be a toss up between three, France, Japan, and Norway with the Matterhorn. I like Japans shop also!
