Raglan Road is awesome. Good food, Beer, and Irish dancers.

If you get a chance on Sunday Morning, Try the House Of Blues. Great Buffet and Gospel Show. :goofy:

For a nice sit down - for sure Raglan Road. Great atmosphere - good beer selection and sometimes night entertainment. A nice adult place to go to get away from the little ones for a while. They even have a nice little patio. Food is delish!

I've been to Portobello - the Italian restaurant as well. From what I remember it was good too.

Earl of Sandwich is a good choice for more of an on-the-go meal.

We've always enjoyed Wolgang Puck's Express...it counted as a counter service meal and was fantastic!

Has anyone eaten at Bongo's? Whats it like?

We just ate At Wolfgang Puck's Express this past trip. We didn't know it was a counter service location when we went two years ago. It had really good food and large portions!
Haven't tried Bongos. I'm not sure we would like the South American flavors either.

Wolfgang Puck is our favorite and it's a Quick Service.

Maybe I'm just not seeing what everyone else sees there but Downtown Disney hasn't really been my thing. I've been there twice now and even ate at Planet Hollywood but I'm not overly impressed. What am I missing? I feel like it's all the same shops that they have at the parks,am I wrong?

The World of Disney is nice because it has so much of the merchandise all in one store. We found and enjoyed Earl of Sandwich two trips ago and Wolfgang Puck Express on the last trip. Otherwise we don't do a lot at Downtown Disney. I think if you enjoy shopping, there are a lot of little stores that might not be available in your part of the country/world. D-tech is fun to look at with some different Disney merchandise than you find in all the stores in the parks. And there are some different options for eating that I've heard good things about.
We're glad Downtown Disney is popular enough for people to go there. If people are there, they aren't in the parks

I agree with you Amy... get those people out of the parks! I have avoided DTD lately due to crowds and only seem to go there for lunch before it gets too crowded. I recommend Fulton's for lunch if they have the Stone Crab Claws on the menu.

Someday I shall have to meet you at Fulton's for lunch. I like crab legs, so I'm thinking crab paws would be tasty too :D
F1gment is allergic to seafood so we haven't ever been there...
