So you see, you're never "too old" to try something new. Who cares why you've been holding out? Wimpy or not, it's irrelevant.
Heheh thanks.. I told my hubby that, he just laughed and said "That means you are gonna ride the ToT again right?" I just shook my head at him. I guess I have to give him props for trying...

Tower of Terror is one I won't ride either. My wife loves it...but no way will I get on it. Its not a fear of heights...its a fear of falling from those heights. OK...really its a fear of becoming road pizza in the plaza in front of the Tower of Terror, after falling.

I used to be okay with ToT. My vertigo issues have increased as I have gotten older and that rapid changing of heights combined with the freefalling really makes me ill now. So my ToT days are over.

That is a shame, and an interesting idea.. are there rides that people either cant or wont ride any more, for whatever reason?

I will not ride the Mad Tea Party Teacups again if I can get away with it, but my 3yo might talk me into it again.

More my head and motion sickness I guess. I was coming off of a headache I had that morning so maybe that was the case. Don't really know though if I want to take the chance again, but then again when you're in Disney you kind of err on the side of fun!

I love pretty much all of the rides at Disney, but... Mission Space, before they added the 'less intense' option made me feel sick.

I've never gotten sick because of a ride in my entire life but this brought me as close as I'd ever like to be!

And Count Down to Extinction can really hurt when you get whipped around near the Trex.

So those I would probably avoid and not be too bummed about it.

Yeah we've only done Mission Space on the less intense. I don't know if we could do the other. I was thinking of doing the more intense but after riding the Teacups and not doing to well on them, well... that kind of made up my mind for me

As for the Dinosaur ride, oh my by far my favorite ride!!!

Dinosaur is really rough! But I still like riding it. Space Mountain made my back hurt a bit on this past trip as well. Too many lurches and drops
I would guess you are playing it pretty smart on Mission Space mjmcsl4me. If the tea cup spinning doesn't make your body happy, I can't imagine the spinning centrifuge would do good things for it either...

I imagine there are others who have claustrophobia problems. It is definitely a more confining space than many attractions...

The problem is, that it looks like a very fun ride.. but I have never even gotten into the queue just because I am afraid I will wait all that time and then chicken out when I see how small it is..
Claustrophobia is a weird thing.. somethings you think wont trigger it do and some things you think will trigger it don't.. I just dunno about Mission Space so I have always erred on the side of caution and haven't done it.

I wonder if it is like a few other attractions where they have a test simulator so you can get strapped in to see how it fits? I know sum of All Thrills has a pod that a CM attends to help people see if they will be ok in the Kuka arm simulator. Might be worth asking anyhow. Then you might be able to try it out without having to wait in the queue, and then find out you can't do it
