Like it's been said before, the guy probably just saw the love from the phrase "love Jesus/God" that is written in the sky on a weekly, if not every other day basis. Good timing though.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Anyone remember back in the 70's Bob Snow used to take to the skies in his biplane to promote Church Street Station?

Funny, I was going to put this in my trip report. The last time I went to WDW, once we got out of Orlando on I4 heading to the world, we noticed a plane writing in the sky. Love was the first word so we kept watching. Just like MadEye and Soarin stated, they are religious statements. This one ended up being Love God. I'll post my pics as soon as I can. The plane later wrote, "U + Jesus = Happy"

Surprised it wasn't the usual happy face.

Has he done it 365 days a year since the 70's, possibly taking sundays and religious holidays off?

If it isn't daily, it's at least several times a week.

That would have been a visit to the Citrus Tower in Clermont on Highway 27. I used live out there on the lakes. Up until the mid '90s that whole area around the tower was orange groves. Now it's all housing developments and strip malls. Not much of an attraction though. You'd go up to the top of a 200' tower and look at the orange groves. Wow!
