Cousin... you answered in a picture we were speculating about in another thread! we were wondering what the heck those 6 foundation pours were for inside the old toontown tents in the above pic there are reinforcement posts and steel webbing added... obviously used to hold up a heavier façade. great pic!

UPDATE: It isn't much but they've pulled the construction walls back a little near the Tea Cups to reveal some pavement. It is themed (cracked with horseshoe and wagon wheel imprints in it).

Looks cool! The horseshoe imprints have me intrigued. Same with the "distressing" of the concrete. Something like that seems more in tune for Frontierland than Fantasyland so I am wondering what they're cooking up for us. How exciting!

I thought for a second that maybe it would be for the Belle area...but that isn't even close. I have no clue what those horseshoe imprints are for.

UPDATE: Dumbo's reopening has been pushed back. It will now reopen in its new spot on March 12th.

M-dude tried getting pics whilst on the train last night but the fencing was too high... however there are some great non-fenced views by the speedway that I'll be sure to photograph soon.

Oh, that is sort of a sad sight. Glad Dumbo is just moving and not disappearing totally!

Two questions, one of which someone here probably knows:

1. What's going to go where Dumbo has been all these 40 years when it's moved?
2. Are they moving that cute elephant topiary?

1. A castle wall spanning from Snow White's Scary Adventure (still no word on when it closes) to Pinocchio's Village Haus.
2. No clue but I would probably bet there will be more than just that topiary in the whole land.

Me too. Seems like that narrow pathway on the south side of Snow White will become awfully crowded and busy if they block off the entire area from Snow White to Pinocchio. And getting from Pooh and the tea cups will be a pain, make it disconnected from the rest of Fantasyland.
