No, this one was raw, barely seared on the outside. I might have heard it moo once or twice

And my Mom likes her beef well done.

so she is more of a boot-leather type rather than moo, huh?

We don't eat the counter service in Animal Kingdom much, but we're going there tomorrow! I don't know if we'll do Flame Tree (which we rarely do) or Restaurantasaurus (which we've never done due to the fast-foody menu.) Then its a stop at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for some zebra domes to go!
I would guess the Tangerine Cafe is a bit healthier than the other options. Especially if you do like we did and share one meal. That was plenty of food for two, although there wasn't a lot of meat so big meat eaters would be disappointed.
Be careful if you go to Restaurantosaurus. F1gment had an undercooked burger there two years back. They refunded the money but sadly didn't seem very concerned about the undercooked meat

She wouldn't eat there this past trip because of that experience. But we did get her a turkey leg from the cart right before you go under the huge dinosaur bridge and we took it to the Restaurantosaurus so she could eat it at a table. And I went and got a hot dog at the Dino Diner and brought that back to eat there with her. It was nice to be in the air conditioning instead of broiling on the hot pavement that is Dinoland

Good to know! Flame Tree it is

That is what we had, it has one tiny pita each of chicken, lamb and falafel. If you like garlic and chickpeas (garbonzo beans) you would like it. I had falafel once in Italy and very much enjoyed it. But I was disappointed in the falafel in the slider because it was very dry. I don't know if that is a rare case or not though. Mom liked the chicken but I didn't care for the flavor of that. The lamb was very tasty to me, but not F1gment. It's a nice way to try more than one thing though

Yup, Tangerine Cafe. It is expensive though if you aren't on the dining plan ~ $15. But it is a lot of food and good to split with someone.

Dear lord does this thread make me hungry... and appreciate Disney food even more.

That was another complaint our table mate at the Biergarten had.

The shwarma platter is only $11.99 - $13.99 depending on which meat you get. But like Amy says, its a lot of food. We never share though

Lots of tastes and textures to explore on that plate. I'm curious to see what you think of it if you try it.

I just looked at your avatar signature and mistook the comma for a period and wondered why in the heck you didn't go more often if you only lived 1 mile away

Then I looked again
