No Electric Parade or Fantasmic early February

We will be in WDW first two weeks in February. Was looking at the schedule and saw that the Electric Parade and Fantasmic are both not running for most of the first two weeks in February. Two of our favorite shows to see. Must be the real slow time at the parks....extremely bummed... Along with Big Thunder Mountain.. Dang...

I think Fantasmic will be down for awhile. It needs a major refurb, I will say!

Wow ~ that is a lot down all at once

At least you will still have the fireworks to look forward to

I sure hope they give us Murphy or something close to it. The dragon head with the cloth wings and body looks really pitiful!

Keep in mind that February is kind of a slow time for the parks so lots of refurb work will be done around that period. I know Fantasmic is getting the big refurb that is really needed but I don't recall hearing anything about MSEP.

Do you know what all Fantasmic is having done? I thought the "steamship" that comes out for the finale looked pretty good this year ~ like at the very least it had a new coat of paint since we saw it the year prior.
