Re: Yakitori House
Update: Yakitori House's opening has been pushed back to December 16th. No reason given as to why but at least they gave a new date rather than just the month.

Re: Yakitori House
That sounds AMAZINGLY good. DEFINITELY going to try that. Daughter #1 and I are adventurous eaters and we usually can drag hubby and daughter #2 into trying new stuff. USUALLY.Amy wrote:I didn't see it on the menu that I found for the Restaurant Marrakesh...closest thing seemed to be these ~ Chicken Bastilla - Baked layers of thin pastry stuffed with minced chicken and almonds, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugarWizzard419 wrote:Here's a question... do they serve Pigeon (possibly chicken) Pie in the Moroccan pavillion? It's a traditional dish but very few places make it right.

Re: Yakitori House
I suggested that one too. She didn't want to go over into the world showcase since it was getting so late anyhow. I imagine she will be up for trying the Lotus Blossom Cafe while we're here. She really likes the sweet and sour chicken with noodles at the Land.MadEye wrote:Lotus Blossom Cafe in China is still open and still amazing QS food.Amy wrote:I'm still hoping to get there this week. Re: Yakitori House
I had the same experience with Yakitori house the last time we were there in August. The food was horrible and we were very disappointed with it. Hopefully the refresh will do wonders for the food as well!yodiwan1 wrote:I used to love yakitori house, but the last two visits there were horrible. Everyone said the food tasted strange...so now I love Tangerine in MOrocco!!! AMAZING!!!

I actually don't know, Amy. Haven't heard anything from them about it. Still making it a point to hit up that Moroccan cafe, though.

Re: Yakitori House
We tried the Moroccan sliders when we went. The falafel was a bit disappointing to me, very, very dry. Mom really liked the chicken and I really liked the lamb. There wasn't a whole lot of meat in any of the tiny pitas, but it was a good taste of the cuisine. The family that shared our table was very familiar with that sort of cuisine and were "yum"ming and "ooo"ing over everything they ordered.TikiTikiRoom wrote:I actually don't know, Amy.
