When we took our niece to DL for the first time (at the ripe old age of 2), her favorite at the time was Ariel. also at the time, there was a meet and greet area where mermaid Ariel was out. So we stood in line and just as she was next in line, the CM cut us off saying that Ariel would be right back. But Ariel stopped the CM and wanted to see our niece. She spent a couple of minutes with her and the look on our niece's face was priceless. She had this glazed over look on her face and she was completely oblivious that we were trying to get her to smile for a picture or anything...she wouldn't talk, nothing. So in awe...when Ariel finally said goodbye and our niece came running over to us with her autograph book and pen in hand with a HUGE smile! She couldn't believe that she just saw Ariel, and that she knew her name!!! (it was on the "first visit" button she was wearing...)

Awwww. That's so adorable! It was very kind of Ariel to let her come see her and talk to her even though she was supposed to be taking a break. :D Just goes to show how great the employees there really are.

I enjoyed meeting EVINRUDE, and I will be really impressed if someone out there has a photo (and can name which film the character is from without Googling it!)

You've piqued my interest. I have no idea unless it is one of the people from Hercules? or Emperor's New Groove?

Not gonna lie, I had to Google the picture. I knew immediately that it's from The Rescuers!

I don't have a photo, but before I look at any other posts, is it The Rescuers Down Under? :hatter_bounce:

When my kids were young we brought them to all the characters that we could. The most memorable moment was when Jafar looked at my youngest daughter's autograh book and gave her a noogie for having tweety bird on the cover. I guess he didn't appreciate looney toons at Disney. The look on my daughter's face was priceless.

Aww. I bet that was adorable! I've never met Jafar, but I'm hoping to see him this year!

It's always cool to see Mickey, Donald, Goofy etc. Back in the early 80's I got to meet Robin Hood and Little John. Two characters you would never see today. I always thought that was cool.

This is all I gotta say-

Honestly I don't really go around to the meet-and-greets for characters much but I HAD to go to the one for Phineas and Ferb, it was one of the things I was most psyched about on my trip this July. Funny enough there were actually a lot of adults there in line too without kids, so I wasn't the only one...

Also loved meeting Fiesta Donald in the Mexico pavilion- however, Donald was being done that day by one of my best friends and hence why Donald is giving me a big hug in this photo.

And of course, classic (this is from my first CP)-

Yay ~ nice photos of Soarin' with the characters ~ you should print out the one of you with Phineas and Ferb and give it to your brother for Christmas!
