What do you consider uncomfortable about them? I personally think they're great.laurie5658 wrote:EE has the most uncomfortable seats but who cares! Totally love that ride!!!

Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!
Re: Least comfortable ride seats
Without reading other posts first to get some inspiration I'm gonna have to vote for Pirates and Space Mountain ... My butt hurts after pirates and my back hurts after space.

Didn't think about this one but you got a point ... It's a bit stiff on the backdougfies wrote:I'd have to vote for Haunted Mansion. It's probably one of my favorite rides, but the seats are just not comfortable. I'm not super tall (6 feet), but I can't sit upright because of the overhanging top.

Small world. Hearing the same song 500 times while sitting stright up on a board makes my back (and ears) hurt. But, we still always ride it-a trip to Disney would be incomplete without Small World.

I feel like I already made a comment on this thread.. anyway..
I think I hold the 'time rover' vehicles in Dinosaur as the worst seats at Walt Disney World.
I'm rather tall and when I rode this I felt as if my knees were pinned against the seat in front of me. Maybe I got in wrong
, but it was a rather painful experience. Not to mention the whole vehicle shakes violently (or so it seemed).

Then you will desperately want to avoid Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye located at Disneyland's Adventureland. It's the same ride vehicles...Space Traveler wrote:I feel like I already made a comment on this thread.. anyway..![]()

That's funny because I also grew up hating roller coasters, and then I rode RnR and it reaffirmed the fact that I do indeed hate roller coasters.theBIGyowski wrote: Actually...I grew up hating roller coasters...until I rode RnR when it was brand new. With all this talk of uncomfortable seats, I'm surprised no one's mentioned Universe of Energy. Those hard plastic benches were obviously designed by the same inhuman torturers who designed airline seats. And since the ride is like 40 minutes long, your back, your legs, and the rear of your behind are really screaming for relief by the time its over.

I like the Universe of Energy seats. As long as you aren't crammed in, you have a little room to slide back and forth and stretch out. They seem very similar to the Great Movie Ride vehicles for me. I don't mind the Universe of Energy seats, you really can spread out a little. Yea the plastic can be rough for a long ride, but there are much worse.Future Guy wrote:That's funny because I also grew up hating roller coasters, and then I rode RnR and it reaffirmed the fact that I do indeed hate roller coasters.theBIGyowski wrote: Actually...I grew up hating roller coasters...until I rode RnR when it was brand new. Re: Least comfortable ride seats
Ok the worst "seats" are the China and Oh Canada movies because they don't provide seats at all and YOU HAVE TO STAND! But since that techincally isn't a seat I have to go with Astro Orbiter.
Re: Least comfortable ride seats
I hated working the bottom portion of Astro Orbiter for most if not all of that reason. Those tiny spaceships are very tight! It's the main reason there is a bit of a line during non-peak days at MK. If there were two or three "large" people in a party and you had a feeling they wouldn't fit in one ship, you had to leave room for them with the others. Ergo, one party takes up two or three ride vehicles. At the top of Astro Orbiter, if they couldn't get their belts on, you had to reach in and latch (for lack of a better word) for them...MouseMan wrote:Ok the worst "seats" are the China and Oh Canada movies because they don't provide seats at all and YOU HAVE TO STAND! Re: Least comfortable ride seats
I would agree the Astro Orbiter seats aren't very comfy. I've never ridden with anyone so I'm not sure how I would feel if I were crammed in. Maybe I wouldn't feel so much like I was going to fall out if I had someone else in the rocket with me!MadEye wrote:I hated working the bottom portion of Astro Orbiter for most if not all of that reason. We love Rock n roll roller coaster but stepping DOWN into the seat is a little awkward. But once you get down into the seat-it's OK.
