Could be both. Like I've said, it is up scheduling as to how many Tour Guides and Bandits are there on a certain day and how busy it is.

Because it is one of the few roles in WDW that you don't have to "smile" for the guests. If I was smiling as a Gangster, it wasn't to keep up the happy appearance of a CM. It was because I was in a great mood and no stupid guest could do anything about it!
That's not quite the cheerful attitude I would expect from a Disney CM (even an ex-)...
Don't like it? Tough! :P  :D  :mickey:

Bandit because I never get it and am too lazy to request it.

Although, it is fun to see the Gangster 'shoot' the red light and act menacing towards the guests, especially if they are misbehaving or using flash photography.

I have to go with Gangster. We had both during our March trip this year, and gangster definitely gets my nod.

I have seen both shows, I have seen the Gangster more for some reason. I like both about the same good show either way.

Gangster. Although, the last time I went through i had the most horrible tour guide on property. She was so bad, i mean over-the-top, the whole car was trying very hard not to bust out laughing. So the few minutes I had with Gangster were golden compared to the rest of the performance.

Either way, its still one of my favorite rides.

I didn't even know there was a Bandit scene until my roommate told me (she was a GMR tour guide). I lost count of all the times I rode that thing and I only saw the Bandit scene once. It was fun - and I was like "you just blew up the tour guide??" - but I like the common one better. It's very rare that I see a good Gangster anymore who actually puts any feeling into the performance, but when I get a good one it's awesome. I definitely like Gangster better.

I will go with the western. Sorry ladies, but ever since they started using women as the gangster I think that the scene just seems weird. I just can't remember seeing too many female gangster movies.

To me, the cowboys' western accents were always far worse than the gangster's street accent...

It has been at least 10 years since I have seen the cowboy scene so I don't remember. I just know the gangster's accents this past trip were pretty bad!
