DLR uses a full scale paddlewheel on the Rivers of America, while WDW uses a scaled-down facsimile (not really a paddlewheel/steamboat). DLR's Fantasmic just seems more "majestic" than WDW's.

and, as noted by mf before, there is no pocohontas segment that is shoehorned in.

But would you go to see Fantastmic if you were at WDW? Or would you skip it because you prefer DL's version?Wizzard419 wrote:and, as noted by mf before, there is no pocohontas segment that is shoehorned in.

I've skipped it every time I've gone to WDW because (first time) there is a lineup and the (2nd time) I had learned it's not that good if you've seen the DL one first.

I've seen it once at WDW, but have had no desire to see again when I go to DHS. Now every time I go to DLR, I have seen it every time except for my last visit, which it got cancelled due to rain.

I'll have to give you this one I guess. I went back through my photos and the paddleboat isn't really a paddleboat, in fact, as this photo shows, it is in need of a bit of retouching on the paint. But, I've honestly never really noticed that when I was watching the show. I guess with all the characters on the boat lighting up in color and the awesome swell in music, the boat is just sort of in the background.mindflipper wrote:DLR uses a full scale paddlewheel on the Rivers of America, while WDW uses a scaled-down facsimile (not really a paddlewheel/steamboat). It's like someone took a Yugo and tried to turn it into a stretch limo. It's like a tugboat made to look like a paddlewheel. It's not impressive.

It's the "Short bus" of finalies. TDS had the right idea (if I recall) by not using it for the finale.mindflipper wrote:It's like someone took a Yugo and tried to turn it into a stretch limo. It's like a tugboat made to look like a paddlewheel. It's not impressive.

Autopia. I don't really have anything against it, it just does not interest me at all. I would much rather spend my time doing everything else.

I only went into Country Bear Jamboree once, and I never will again. I know some love it, but I just don't see it.

Many people already have posted their displeasure for this ride due the "fumey" petrol smell in the air...FrogsAreAwesome wrote:Autopia. I don't really have anything against it, it just does not interest me at all. I would much rather spend my time doing everything else.

I agree. I don't like country music and I don't like bears.mdk010 wrote:I only went into Country Bear Jamboree once, and I never will again. I know some love it, but I just don't see it.

So then I guess when I request the show audio on an almost daily basis it is kind of annoying?

Hee-hee! That is what the other channels are for...if they don't like the requests, they have other choicesjlpeaches255 wrote:So then I guess when I request the show audio on an almost daily basis it is kind of annoying?
