Mr.ToadWildRider wrote:...I really miss the rose smell Figment USED to spray in the REAL Journey Into Imagination. The one where he was painting and the room would go from B&W to colorful. He was like holding a pot or something and it was spilling out into a pool and it smelled vividly of roses. My ex-girlfriend used to wear a lotion from Bath & Body Works that smelled exactly the same. I should buy some of it and cover my old Figment doll in it.
I loved that smell in Journey Into Imagination! I still imagine I can smell it in the attraction sometime now. It's faint but still there!

Definitely the musty smell of Pirates, plus just walking down mainstreet.

I'll vote for the Pirates smell. It's still there and immediately takes me back to being a kid.

- Pirates
- Mainstreet USA
- Spaceship Earth
- Wilderness Lodge Lobby
- Any of the restaurants.

Sometimes I'll catch a wiff of a smell somewhere else and it immediately makes me thing of Disney.

My most memorable is the ghirardelli chocolate store in Downtown Disney. Also the smell of the oranges on Saorin'! :goofy_bounce:

Oranges on horizons, Dinosaurs on the Universe of energy ride always had a distinct smell. Always a favorite is the Rome burning smell. I also think that inside of Mexico has a good smell, with the market, restaurant and the boat ride.

Its possible they have done away with it due to operating cost. Its very distinct and would have been remembered. I have not been in several years due to finance issues and children. As soon as my kids get old enough to walk all day without a stroller or someone carrying them, we will be on our way.

I was there in February of this year, and the smell of a burning Rome is still there. It seemed the same to me like it always was. Man, that is my favorite part of the ride. I have no idea why but I *LOVE* that burning smell. (Me? Pyromaniac? NO)

I was just thinking about the Burning Rome smell when the audio I'm listening to on the request stream played the Rome scene...

I still think Disney is missing out on a serious source of revenue here...I mean, could you imagine a Burning Rome scented candle in your bathroom? Or how about a Soarin'/Horizons Orange candle? Blue Ribbon Bakery? PoTC mustiness? The list is endless... ;)

You guy's have a great point. I would buy that candle if I saw it on my way out of the attraction. The orange can be put in a candle. The wood burning. It would have to be some creative candle sense to make that.

HOnestly, almost ANY scent or smell can be created in labs.. It could be done, it is just will enough people buy it to warrant the development and sale? I just dunno..
