Pirates and pals fireworks voyage!!

Post by yodiwan1 » Jan Wed 12, 2011 3:20 pm

has anyone done this? My 2 year anniversary is on Monday the 17th, and this Friday my DW and I are taking a 6 day trip to WDW. On our actual anniversary we are doing the Undicovered Futureworld Tour at Epcot, followed by lunch at Le Cellier, and at night the Pirates and pals Firework Voyage. We have loads of fun stuff planned, and now I hear this weekend is the 25th anniversary of the Seas pavillion. Lots to do in so little time! I will report back next week! But can anyone give me feedback on the fireworks cruise/voyage? Thanks!

Future Gal and I did it last January, and we had a blast, even though we went during that week of record cold and we were freezing our Mousekehineys off. True, it's geared more toward kids, but we still had a lot of fun. Patch, our pirate host, even had the couples celebrating anniversaries get up and dance while he sang "Kiss the Girl"! You'll have a great time.

I only know about it what Future Guy so nicely described in his trip report. I would guess from the description that it is more for families with children, but as FG said, they had fun.
It sounds like you have quite a nice day planned for your anniversary!
Do you know if they have anything special planned for the Seas' 25th anniversary?

There was a mom's panel video about this on the Disney Parks Blog. Check out the old editions it was not long ago. I have to say it looked like they were having a blast.

Just to let everyone know...this was a blast!!! i will try to remember to put some pics up when I get home. My wife and I both won pirate tankards, and the spread of goodies was amazing! The only draw back was not Disney's fault at all. As soon as we got onto the boat heavy fog rolled in making the fireworks very hard to see. besides that, mostly families. We were the only couple without kids. Great time though, songs, trivia, stories. Great character interaction too!

I saw the boat at the Yacht Club and it looked fun!
