Re: 2011 WDW Marathon Weekend
Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!
Saturday morning should have a low of 45 degrees...warming up to 72 by the afternoon. Sounds like perfect weather for the Half! The Marathon will be a little warmer...55 degrees that morning.

Re: 2011 WDW Marathon Weekend
I just found out that a girl I went to high school will be running the marathon too ~ she is career Air Force and loves to run so I'm guessing she will be posting a good time
Re: 2011 WDW Marathon Weekend
Update: Joe finished the half marathon in just over 2 hours, he took it easy as he has the marathon tomorrow.

Yay! I hope he takes the time to take a photo of him and his medal And now he can relax and enjoy the rest of his trip right?Sleepy90 wrote:Marathon finished time 4:41:58. Whoo hoo its over he finally has his Goofy.

Yes he is there until Wednesday, I spoke to him about an hour ago and he says he is in agony. I'm sure after a good night's sleep he will be fine.Amy wrote:Yay! That is a lot of running! The girl I know from high school posted her and her friend's photo on facebook with their medals and they were all smiles...but I bet they are feeling it too!Sleepy90 wrote:Yes he is there until Wednesday, I spoke to him about an hour ago and he says he is in agony. I DID IT!!!
I finished my first marathon - and under the max time too (well, at least 2 seconds under the max time). Congrats to all the Disney Runners. Anyone up for the Wine and Dine in October?
