I don't think Small World is really that bad of a song. I think it's rather cute actually. I think the reason it gets so much flack is BECAUSE it's so cute and easy to sing.

i should say every song in future world in epcot and ilumination because well when i was listening to promise i was crying for joy then i visited the park in 1998 i was the last person to go on world of motion and horizens but i was very young at that time i think i was 4 when i was on it plus i went on every ride even the second version of journey into imagination yep i went on every ride ( just future world) now i really miss all of the rides and im gonna miss wonders of life because my favorite was body wars and cranium command it might be gone but if it is gone i will cry but now its the future the world is changing but all of the ride in futurre world will be missed but the good news is that im going to epcot on the 25th on december (maybe) so i might see new thing witch has been good but they will never replace our old ride in our heart (im learning about disney world because i want to be a ceo president) a kid can dream can he?

Probably "Space" from Horizons, but I'll have to give it more thought.
Hmmm...I quite like "Magic Journeys", but I think I've got to stick with "Space".
Horizons isn't necessarily my favorite memory (staying at the Contemporary and the Polynesian with my family are better memories), but music-wise, that one is tough to beat. Maybe "If You Had Wings..."

This is not my favorite song (no way) but it means something to me...

Don't laugh, please!

It's the Electrical Parade! It's because it is stuck to a memory, my first Disney memory ever. It was my very first day at WDW in 1979 and I never saw such a thing in all my life.

I thought I was dreaming and I never forgot this catchy tune.

This is a TOUGH question!
I would have to say the most meaningful piece to me has to be "When You Wish Upon a Star". I particularly like the line "Makes no difference who you are..." because it's a line that embodies Walt Disney's vision of what the parks should be. A place for EVERYONE to come and experience the magic.
In the same vein, the original "Journey" would have to be my favorite "on-ride" tune. It speaks to the same ideals as mentioned above and is the most important element in all of vision... Imagination.
Memories wise, I simply cannot think of a more important sound than the opening notes on that creepy organ in the HM foyer followed by Paul Frees totally immersing you in the greatest dark ride ever conceived. Childhood memories flood back at the first note.

For me, the songs that mean the most are the ones that instantly transport me back to WDW.
+ Space Mountain Star Tunnel
+ Epcot Entrance Loop
+ Pizzafari Area Loop
+ Adventureland Background Loop
+ Tomorrowland Background Loop
I'm a big fan of background, area, & entrance loops

I think I would agree that "Golden Dreams" is probably my all-time-favorite, with "Main Street Electrical Parade" ("Baroque Hoedown") being a very close 2nd.
But like someone else said, my "favorite" could probably change every day because all of the songs are so great and leave you with such a wonderful feeling. How can you pick just one??

I absolutely love the entrance music to Epcot. Plus IllumiNations is wonderful. The music stays with me all evening. I am also really fond of all the old ride music.

Wow, favorite song. I'd have to say the origional 1982 entrance medley to EPCOT. We always went to Epcot first when I was a kid and since this was the first thing you heard, besides the welcome to the park on WDW Radio, it always makes me think of my trips to the park as a kid and loving every minute of it. Next I'd have to say toss up between the Star Tunnel, Energy (you make the world go round), Universe of Energy theme, One Little Spark, and America from the American Adventure. I've always loved the epcot music.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

I actually love that goofy-ass "California Feels Alright" song from DCA... and the oddly hip-hop "Mickey Mania" from Tokyo Disneyland, but those are both because I have a soft spot in my heart for incredible amounts of kitsch.

The day we got engaged (at Epcot), as we were leaving the park after IllumiNations, we just sat by the water while Promise was playing, and I couldn't think of a more fitting song for us. To this day it makes me tear up a little bit. I'm such a sap.

I wouldn't let my wife know anything more than after our first dance, I had a special dedication song for her. I had the DJ play Promise for her at our reception and we continued to dance for a little bit and invited everyone else to the floor. She crys to this day when she hears it.

I dont know what it is but I'm not even from Canada
but I love "O Canada" in the Canadian pavillion. It just gives me chills every time I hear it. I ran from the American Pavillion to the Canada Pavillion last year just to catch the last show of the film just to hear that song hehe.
and I love the opening piece to the Space Mountain Queue when your first walk in. Whoever made that piece is a genius!
And like someone said before, I also love the background music to most of the rides and parks. I have personal made burned CDs that have each park's background music
