ya, i'll be interested to see what kind of response you get on this. here's what i've noticed about dvc members that i'm friends with, and of everyone else who frequent disney blogs like this one. as a rule dvc members are not disney "obsessed" (if that's not too strong). they like disney, but their interest is only as far as the timeline of their next vacation. the people on the blogs love disney. they need a dose everyday. as far as i've seen, they are not dvc members. the only reason i make this guess is because everytime dvc is mentioned, several always say how they wish they could be... just not in the budget. why this seems to be the way of things, i'm unsure. i am sure that i rarely see dvc people offer an opinion, just once in a great while a question. so this adds to my guess that there aren't too many. we'll see huh?
It might help to classify "obsessed", I’m obssesed. The other owners I know are obsessed too, but they think I’m more then they are. I think it would be a matter of perspective. I listed to park and background music all the time at work, home and ridding my bike. I have no Disney house wares, but I have opening day Epcot merchandise, and other collectables. Everyone who knows me without knowing how much I love WDW thinks I’m obsessed just because I go roughly once a year, this year I went the second week of January and the first week in February.
Outsiders think we all are obsessed and those of us who crossed over have levels and rights of passage to prove their obsession! All though that would be a new topic!

That would probably fall under the "You know you're a WDW nut when..." thread!

I was going to get it on my own but my dad suggested piggy backing on his as it would be coming to me eventually anyway. So that's what we did. I am not active on any forums however. And to my knowledge neither are they.
You are active here silly!!

Indeed. I was more referring to exclusively DVC forums.

I think kcarts meant he's not a member of any forum just for DVC owners...

We're not technically DVC members ourselves, but we have one in the family and have used her points on more than one occasion. We've talked about actually joining ourselves, but it's just too convenient (and less expensive... ) to keep using hers for now. Maybe later we'll join if she stops letting us mooch off her.

you sound about like me, i'd say i'm reasonably obsessed (now you know why i thought that word may be too strong). not crazy, but certainly more into it than the regular (average) disney vacationer.

Try mouseowners dot com, you'll be suprised what info you can find, a great place for DVC and others to find out information about ownership and other things. :goofy_bounce:
