Yes, I agree that Germany has the best beer.... and no, I haven't fouled the WS Lagoon. I swear I'm reformed....
Yea that's what you say now!! What happens after a few beers and a long line for the rest room????Image
I am aware these posts are all in fun, and I appreciate it!! But I will say we made the mistake of going to the WS on a Sat during the Food & Wine. Of course it was very crowded, which was expected, but while we expereinced not issues or problems, I was somewhat disapointed at the # of completed wasted drunks stumbling around, falling down, yelling obsenities, etc. Again, it did not ruin the day and my kids were pretty oblivious to most of it, but it did take away from the Magic. So dont go to WS on a Sat during the F & W Festival.

I have been to WDW F&W on a Sat. Yes it was very over crowded and there seem to be a few very drunk people. I found it odd that there seem to be a lot of drunk college age kids drinking hard there! The drinking age in WDW is still 21, correct?

That's too bad that people are out there drinking past the point of reason. I would think they would go somewhere else where it would be cheaper to get into and pay a lot less for drinks than at the F&W festival at EPCOT

I remember weighing in on that subject on another thread a while back...
Yes, we feel the same way about Saturdays at the F&W. All the obnoxious drunks seem to come out of the woodwork on those days. Including belligerent ones who also smoke and think they can puff away anywhere they want to, and practically threaten violence to anyone who dares challenge them. They give a bad name to all the decent rule-abiding smokers who respect the rules and stay in the smoking areas. I don't understand why so many of that type of people all have to show up at the same time on certain days. And like Amy said, why would ignoramouses like that want to actually pay to come into Epcot and ruin it for the rest of us when they could go wallow in their wretchedness someplace far cheaper?
(note: I am not talking about "all smokers and drinkers", here. Please keep in mind that I only mean the ones who are obnoxious and belligerent in their utter disregard for rules, decency, and everyone else's rights and enjoyment).
So unless you're one of those, you might want to be prepared to have your fun ruined if you go to F&W on a Saturday.

Of course, all this is moot at this point... F&W is already over for this year.
But something to keep in mind for next year...
