It's hard to top World of Disney--it's so big that you almost feels like you could get lost.
I also like the Christmas Shop--I am a very 'Christmas-y' kind of guy.

We certainly spend a lot of time in the Christmas store. I always end up in Goofy's Candy Shop, so it gets an honorable mention.

I love to browse around through all the shops, but I'd have to say my hands-down favorite is The Art of Disney. I never get bored there. I'm always amazed by all the beautiful paintings and sculptures, and I especially enjoy watching when they have an artist doing sketches. It's mesmerizing, and more of an "experience" than just a simple store hawking merchandise.

I agree, but it is a dangerous store in which to look ~ everywhere I look, I want what I see!!Mousekedude wrote:I love to browse around through all the shops, but I'd have to say my hands-down favorite is The Art of Disney. Yeah, that's the only downside. I've come so close to buying some of the artworks several times.... but just couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money.Amy wrote: I agree, but it is a dangerous store in which to look ~ everywhere I look, I want what I see!!
It gets a little frustrating. But I usually appease myself by getting some kind of little memento that's not too expensive.

I lucked out in California once and found things that I liked on clearance!! I have a really nice leather portfolio and some awesome limited edition photographs from Walt's early daysMousekedude wrote:Yeah, that's the only downside. I also love Hoypoloi, for a lot of the same reasons as The Art of Disney. Hoypoloi has an amazing selection of eclectic crystal and glass items that are very beautiful and creative. In fact, as I type this, I'm looking at a crystal-and-glass figurine I bought there. It's a crystal Mickey standing under a glass palm tree made with clear and green glass. It's beautiful, and I just had to buy it the minute I saw it.
