Night
Night wins my vote but with the night comes the end of your day at Disney thats never good at least for me. But at night the lights are so beautiful, and everything tends to glow. Seems more quiet and even more surreal.

Night, definitely! We're night owls anyways, but the atmosphere is just amazing - the lights, the fireworks! Plus, the crowds are a lot better and it's not as hot! I love not having the sun blazing on me.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

M.K comes to life at night... easy choice for me
Re: Night or Day??
Love the MK at night - the whole park seems to take on a very magical quality, especially the castle. And, it seems to be a bit less crowded in general.

surprisingly, here's a topic i hadn't noticed before. as new ones seem to be few and far between i'd better weigh in on this one. i went w/ night. personally, i like all the parks better at night, i think it's a visual thing for me. they just seem (and look) more magical after dark. i don't know that the crowds are any better, unless you're taking advantage of everyone being packed on mainstreet during the parade/fireworks display. i've done this a couple times, but it always felt sort of sacrilegious viewing the show from anywhere other than main street.

My kids are just worn out and historically melt down about 9 PM. We've been to MK several times and I still haven't seen wishes because my wife takes the older one and I take the younger 2 and go back to the room. So, I tend to enjoy the park better in the day because no one is melting down. But the park is beautiful at night!

Can't you bargain with your wife for at least one viewing of Wishes?!rphillips14 wrote:My kids are just worn out and historically melt down about 9 PM. Ever thought about letting the kids take a nap in the afternoon and then going back for the fireworks?
