Longest queue wait

Post by AKLRULZ » Oct Mon 10, 2005 7:18 am

What is the longest amount of time you've stood in a queue line at Disney for an attraction and would you do it again?

Haha... when Indiana Jones Adventure first came out at Disneyland 10 years ago, and mind you this was pre-FastPass, the line used to lead out of Adventureland towards the hub, curl through the hub back into Frontierland, past Big Thunder Mountain and up near the walkway to Fantasyland... you darn near stood in four different lands to get on this ride, and once you got to the attraction, there was a huge cattle-line switchback setup, and then once you hit the show building, it's another half mile down (technically, out of the park, into the old Eeyore parking lot).

The wait... I kid you not... topped two and a half hours.

We waited. Twice, in one three-day trip. Insanity!

These days you can get on that ride with about 20 minutes wait pretty reliably. I've seen standby times of 90+ on Splash Mountain, but that's about the longest I've noticed recently.

Then you clearly have not been to Epcot recently and seen the lines that come out of Soarin or Test Track

When we were at WDW between Christmas and New Years a couple years ago Mission Space was over two hours. But we decided to pass so I can't say I waited that long. The longest I've actually waited was in Splash Mountain. Line took a good 90 mins to get through. It was August and very hot. I must say the "Splash" at the end was very welcome.

Technically the longest I have ever waited for a ride was 4 hours...that was at Cedar Point though for top thrill dragster

At Disney the longest I have ever waited was 90 minutes to 2 hours for peter pan....sad...wasn't suppose to take that long but they kept letting fastpass only in.

EPCOT a bad place to be for lines right now? What can be done to shorten them?

I waited over 2 hours for Splash Mountain back in 1998. That was my longest wait ever.

90 minutes for Splash Mountain. I generally will not wait that long, but it was my sons first time on Splash and he was very excited to ride.

Aerosmith. without a doubt. It was the longest wait of my 9 day vacation.

Except maybe waiting for my luggage. Thanks magical express.

Longest time I ever waited:
80 minutes for Rockin' Roller Coaster (ride shut down right before I reached the end of the line)

60 minutes for Soarin' (I was with a Brazilian..its all good)

Longest Queue I've ever seen:
240 minutes for Space Mountain, and a line BEHIND the sign that states its a 240 minute wait...

The longest I waited was pre-Fast Pass for Splash Mountain and it was 90 minutes. Mind you it was a hot day too.

well as you all might know, the finding nemo subs have just opened recently and since there are no fastpasses for that ride it was hell and still is, but worth the wait. The longest time i had to wait was about three hours. :(

Rock'in Rollercoaster. It just took forever to get on that ride. Must of been 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins.
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Love RCT3
