Sounds like you are right G2-4T. I read this on mouseplanet....The Wonders of Life pavilion has been removed from the latest Epcot park maps. This doesn't bode well for the pavilion's future.

it's due to the word censors that are set. anything that starts with the letters a-s-s with anything after will automatically be changed to show a**. if you need some examples why this would be in place, We can do so via email or something. Don't want to give anyone ideas for getting around the system...

Yeah, I figured that was it but it seems a little bogus for such a commonly used word [you'd think it would have an exempt list for cases like this...].

Anyways, back to the WoL discussion - thanks for the confirmation of the removal of the attractions from the park maps...

They should get rid of wonders of life and put an updated Horizons and World of Motion themed throwback that would synthesize those two old pavillions into a comedic Jetsons style ride with the latest in vr and hologaphic technology.

they should make a ride called "Cryogenics of Walt", where you get to see his corpse and settle the question if he really is a popsicle afterall. Everybody gets Elizabeth Shue transposed into your car like haunted mansion. Then you get to have guns mounted to your car like buzz lightyear, but real guns, and you can shoot the wiggles, hillary duff and raven for sucking so bad...ahh, if i could only take over eisners job.

i think that it shoudl be shut down especially since it just taking up space. and since iger has said that he just wants to build on the disney magic an empty building is not doing that. it wouldnt suprise me if they did something with it soon

I personally don't like the trend of bringing the characters to EPCOT. EPCOT has always been different than the other parks in my mind. Its never been a place to see disney characters. It was a place of technology and learning. I would really like to see that trend continue.

IMO the wonders of life pavillion needs a new theme, its just not cutting edge anymore. Its up to those imagineers to come up with something suitable to replace it. If I had to pick....I would pick the weather pavillion(although this borderline would just be "the land") With all the tropical activity and concerns over global warming I think it would fit in the best with the EPCOT theme. Now if they would only that the mickey hand off the ball....

i agree with you. it p*** me off too. its disney magic just to hear jeremy irons voice in spaceship earth...who wants to see mickey mouse? leave that for the foreigners at magic kingdom.
