Ah, yes. The imfamous Skyway. Actually whats interesting is if you go over to Tomorrowland and go to the big black granite sphere, you'll see a oblque plaque on the other side and there it still locates right where the Skyride was and where it was going to take you out of Tomorrowland.

Wow, the skyride. I rode that as a boy on my first trip to Disney World. It was amazing to be up above the magical world.

well...I voted for "If You had Wings" but I didn't notice Mr. Toad.

My first Disney trip was to Disneyland in the 70's when you received "A" thru "E" ticket books. Their equivalent to If You Had Wings was a "no ticket" ride (free). I couldn't believe it!

Actually it was called "If you had wings" when Eastern sponsored it, Eastern was going through restructuring prior to bankruptcy and dropped the sponsorship (1987).. It was then called "If you could fly". Same ride with all of the Eastern references and music pulled out. In 1989 it changed to "DreamFlight" sponsored by Delta. Delta pulled it's sponsorship in 1996 and the ride became "Take Flight". In 1998 the ride became "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin." Which is what we have today.

If you had wings was one of the first simulation like rides wasn't it? I mean, I remember entering the big room with the large screen that made it feel like you were taking off in a plane. Now it's the room where you blast Zurg's ship as it flies around the room.

I think that I remember the plane, but I also believe that there was downhill snow skiing in that room. The inclined car with air cold air blown in your face was a great effect (that might have been when Delta took it over).

I was on Stitch in February, before they made some much needed changes. My 10 year old daughter is a Stitch fanatic, but she found herself somewhat disappointed, because it was almost too tame. Same general ide as AE, except they are transporting Stitch, he gets free, eats a chili dog, belches, breathes on you, etc....From what I understand, they have made some improvements....I always LOVED AE on a late night in Tommorowland

I love Stitch, he is by far one of my most beloved Disney Character. That being said, the attraction stinks worse than the Tree Farm on WDW property. It's a slap in the face to Alien Encounter.

AE should have never been built in Tomorrowland, it's home should have been the Studios. They should rebuild it in the studios, they already have a following for it. Nothing beats AE after a long day. Even though I knew what was coming, it was always a fun time.

I think they should add Alien Encounter, the Monsters Inc Ride, The Indiana Jones Ride, The proposed Disney Villans ride and The Journey to the Center of the Earth ride to the studios. Then add something exciting to the back stage tour and you would have an amazing park. You would have 7 E-Tickets at the studios, and enough traffic to warrant a monorail line or a wedway line.

They should also add a series of pavillions to the magic kingdom or Epcot that lets you revist favorite WDW attractions of the past.

Was at Epcot in June, as we stepped off Mission: Space, my mom asked me "Why did they change that ride?" I told her "It hasnt been changed?" She asked "I thought that you saw the orange field, and the people on the TV phones, and at the end picked what ending you wanted. Why did they change it???" "No, thats Horizons! And its gone forever, they got rid of that" "darn, I liked that ride alot!"

They bummed out my mommy :x

But this poll was easy, Horizons all the way.

or

The REAL Journey into Imaginations...it was so much more fun and creative before

I would have to say Journey Into Imagination... I'm a big Figment/Dreamfinder fan! I miss the whole attraction, the new one is not the same. :(

Welcome tinkerica. Always good to see new faces. I have to agree with you. I remember my first trip to EPCOT. Figment is about all I remember though.
