Wear a red wig with it too - that way, if you look too much like Jessica Rabbit, they would be forced to give you new clothes (or maybe just kick you out of the park altogether). Disney does have a policy of not allowing adults to wear costumes into the park that look too much like any Disney animated characters...Jacca5660 wrote:What about my slinky red dress? would they give a whole new outfit?Amy wrote:Now I'm tempted to wear red so I can get a free t-shirt, although now I know...so I guess I can't be unsuspecting![]()
Nope, still holding out until December for the next tripCan I wear red then and plead ignorance on the time of year?
I would love a free t-shirt

Wow, its hard to wade through the homophobic mess that is this thread! I'm wondering why g** is bleeped, as if it was a profanity? Speaking about "them" like homosexuals are some other species? Shame on all of you.

I don't know why the word is bleeped - could it be since this is a website about Disney theme-parks it needs to be family-friendly?
Have you ever been there on one of these "g** days"? Years ago before they warned about the g** days on the net (Disney would never do so when you made reservations) I unfortunately did. While most wore the red shirts and dressed appropriately for the theme-park, many did not. I saw one T-shirt that's graphic was X-rated. WDW is a family-friendly theme-park for CHILDREN and adults. Sexually inappropriate attire - whether homosexual in nature or heterosexual - at WDW is just wrong! The sexually inappropriate attire was meant to be shocking and controversial in attempt to create awareness, but just came across as lewd and disgusting in a selfish, tacky, attention-grabbing way. I have no problem with g** people or g** pride movement, I know someone who's g**, and I'm a big supporter of g** rights - but I do not support what was done there by a few because it lacked any decency. It was unfortunate that a few made the rest look bad, but I hope that over the years the people who visit WDW for g** days use more tact now than was used back then. I'm okay with g** days at WDW - but show some decency and discretion around children. Everyone regardless of sexual orientation should be able to enjoy the park together.
And the jokes I told - they were from g** friend I aforementioned. He has whole joke routine in which he likes to prove that Disney World is g**. I used his jokes because he is funny. Does that make both of us homophobic? Or me just for repeating it? Do we want to create a double standard on who has the right to say what in this country? Do we need to revise the Bill of Rights and fix that pesky first amendment?

"I'm not racist, I have a black friend!"
Also, what exactly, in your mind, is not family friendly about homosexuals?
Also, I've seen some incredibly offensive T-shirts in the park, and guess what, not every person wearing them was a homosexual! A lot of straight people wear revealing clothing, offensive slogans, and behave horribly in the park, and there isn't a thread to take potshots at their lifestyle.

Alright guys... we clearly know this is a touchy subject and one that has been debated numerous times in the media and other outlets. Let's just consider this topic closed and leave as friends. Ok?

If a person is wearing a T-shirt showing two naked people having sex - whether heterosexual or homosexual - that's not family friendly!!! It was a shock to run into someone in the Main Street shops wearing that. THAT'S WRONG! There were other shirts like that but not that pornographic. It crosses the line when it goes from homosexuality to homosexual sex acts. Leave any sexually explicit attire (again, whether heterosexual or homosexual) at home and don't wear it to WDW.MW1218 wrote:"I'm not racist, I have a black friend!"

The issue that I have is people who are bringing up inappropriate clothing and behavior and acting as if homosexuals are the only ones guilty of this behavior only during this portion of the year. There are countless threads on this site where it is well documented that specific people of ALL genders, races, sexual preferences, ages, and blood type are guilty of being bad theme park guests.

Quite true! Bad theme park guests can be made up of ALL gender, race, age, sexual preference, etc. I do not feel it is right to justify inappropriate clothing and behavior as if it was some right to g** day celebration. I don't care what's the reason, as long as anybody at WDW in any theme-park remember there are small children present and should some decency in attire and behavior around small children. If you were celebrating anywhere else, and it involved adult themes unsuitable for small children but small children were not present, then I would not have any problem. It's just the wrong environment at a WDW theme-park for that - anywhere else with exposure to small children is fine.MW1218 wrote:The issue that I have is people who are bringing up inappropriate clothing and behavior and acting as if homosexuals are the only ones guilty of this behavior only during this portion of the year.
