I'm with northernmousefan2007 - there's a place in my little town that serves Dole brand Dole Whip. You should have seen my reaction when I saw they sold it.

And for $2 they give you more then you can possibly eat. But theres no good background music, and they don't squeegee the streets when it rains, no view of the castle from outside either. I just hold out for Disney dw.

I have still yet to make it to the top of the Contemporary to have a bite at the California Grille and to check out the view. Hopefully I'll be able to grab a reservation there on my next visit.

I would love to do that too - a late reservation so we could watch the fireworks from aboveSoarinSoarin wrote:I have still yet to make it to the top of the Contemporary to have a bite at the California Grille and to check out the view. After reading a number of the recent posts, I need to do a tour! They sound better than what I expected and may be worth the price - main reason why I have stayed away.

Re: What have you still not done?
We did the Behind the Scenes tour many years ago and it was worth every penny. We were pampered with our own little air conditioned mini bus, snacks, cold water, lunch was included, we saw all sorts of cool "secret" stuff behind the scenes, got a pin and a surprise book at the end of the tour. It was expensive, and it took up pretty much a whole day so you might want to save the big tours for when you have an extra day or two to spend on vacation. The shorter tours only take a few hours though and I think are still worth it for having a different experience that not everyone gets the chance to do.Sockdoodle wrote:After reading a number of the recent posts, I need to do a tour! I just realized the other day that I still haven't done Kali River Rapids. I always either forget about it or don't want to get soaked so I skip it. But I hear the theming of the queue is worth it on its own.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Ok, so clearly I must have at least one Dole Whip this summer . . . the only place that sells them is the Magic Kingdom, near Tiki Room/Jungle Cruise no?

Moonpet, you can get Dole Whips in MK at Aloha Isle, right as you enter Adventureland and also at the Poly, they have self service at Capt. Cook's. You can only get the soft serve there, no floats. I like to get my Dole Whip fix early and often when we're in WDW. I have a Dole Whip addiction.
