2. Triple the drinking fountains in the park and post them in the park guide.
3. Install a pathway on the outside perimeter of the park to allow patrons to exit without walking down Main street.
this would also alleviate congestion during parade times.
4. Add an additional train Station to the Railroad and run the trains after the Fireworks.
5. Add nighttime entertainment to all of the lands. "Lots of Music".
6. Ban cigarette smoking at all parks. Or rename the smoking areas to (Addiction Stations) Lets show our Children how smoking is not glamorous it’s an addictive drug, enough said.
7. Add more people eater rides like the TTA
8. Add additional themed table service restaurants in each land.

4. The Gondolas

6. The Matterhorn Bobsleds
7. 3 additional E ticket rides.
8. 3 additional c ticket rides.
9. And last but not least Ban Miley Sirus from all parks, and television.

Wow! Could you be a little more specific Searlproudbottom?!

Very nice addition to the conversation

Searl - I like MOST of your ideas. Sounds like your additions would cost a lot and take up quite a bit more space though. If this ever happened you do know that the daily cost for 1 park would probably be $150 per person.

I do like the water fountain idea--that might even apply to ALL parks!

I also like most of those ideas (especially Miley!), but I also like the fact that there are enough differences between DL and MK to keep people interested in both parks. Attractions like Matterhorn and Indy are native to DL and I believe it should stay that way. Just like there are attractions native to WDW. If all the parks were the exact same, why would people choose one over the other? (i.e. east-coasters would never venture west and vice-versa)

There are some REALLY great ideas in this thread! I'm excited for the potential just reading them.

I firmly agree with keeping rides "location specific," but only to a point. I would be okay with another Matterhorn, of sorts, but name it after a different mountain and change the ride itself.
As suggested in other posts, the skyway is an absolute must! What about a simplified version of a couple different suggestions already posted: add some small hills to the autopia track and revamp the theme to match Mr. Toad's wild ride. The cars could easily be electric, which could decrease maintenance and help reduce some of the odor.

To do the improbable, we first have to dream the impossible.

I would rather like to see the Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye not added to the WDW MK but to WDW DHS instead. How many times can you see the same Indiana Jones stunt show over and over?!?

How do you do
For those of you that can remember or have ever seen the rerun of Disneyland after dark you will know what I am referring to in regard to live entertainment. In the early 70’s back when you needed tickets to ride the amusements you get in to Disneyland for only $3.00 which was a general admission price. We would go to Disneyland just to listen to the music. On the weekends there was always top entertainment playing at the Tomorrow land stage. I can remember seeing Kenny Rogers when he was with the First Edition. Remember Ruby don’t take your love to town? How about in the late 70s; the “Hughes Corporation” and Rock the Boat. There were always top bands playing at the Tomorrow land stage. At the Terrace stage in Tomorrow land (The stage that pops out of the ground) The Kids of the Kingdom was always entertaining us with clean cut wholesome music. They always had top local bands playing pop music as well. After dark they would remove all of the tables and chairs and the younger crowd would pack the dance floor .The 60’s and 70’s was the Golden age of Tomorrow land. Over at the plaza gardens the older crowd could Dance or listen to bands playing dance music. When heading over to New Orleans square you could listen to Dixieland Jazz. And let’s not forget about the stage show over in Frontier land at the Golden Horseshoe staring the infamous Wally Boag. The 10,000th performance of the Golden Horseshoe Revue was featured on the Wonderful of Disney
This was the golden age which brought Disneyland after Dark to life and this is what I would really like to see come to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

Well, now that we're getting Double Dumbos, and for reasons I cannot imagine they are re-naming the carousel ...no longer Cinderella's Golden Carousel, now it's Prince Charming's carousel and the back story is that he was bored and needed to practice jousting...this seems so contrived to me, but ok, so I would like Fantasyland to be attractive to "families playing together, of ALL ages" (that is, the young AND YOUNG AT HEART) and not "families playing together, but mostly those with young, very young children." It's turned into a "walk thru" for me, stroller parking central.

Well...first I would tear down Toontown...then I would expand Fantasyland to include a Pixie meet and greet...a Beauty and the Beast restaurant..and a new Little Mermaid ride. Now, I know..I know..that all seems soooo far fetched..buuuut you never know who at Disney might be reading this and get some ideas. Here's hoping!

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”
