I liked Kitchen Kabaret and was kind of mad when they replaced it with Food Rocks, but then I grew to like that one too - the music always wins me over! The only problem with Food Rocks is now whenever I hear the original songs that the attraction had songs based on, I can only sing the Disney-fied lyrics which draw some weird looks! veggie - veggie -froot -froot - cha -cha -cha

I have the same feelings about Kitchen Kabaret/Food Rocks too!
It's hard to pick one attraction to bring back for a day, but I'd be thrilled with any of the following:
the original Journey to Imagination
World of Motion (It's fun to be freeee!)
Horizons
If You Had Wings (if only to sing along!)

You can request If You Had Wings here on subsonic, but it's just not the same as being in the ride...

I'd like to ride the Skyway (Sky buckets, Skyway to Tommorowland/Fantasyland) again. We used to average one trip a year while the ride was active but most times we were there they halted them. ( Maintenance, wind, rain, etc) Out of maybe five or eight trips we rode it twice.

I wouldn't mind the Skyway being back either - if it was still there, we could get some great shots/pictures of the WDW Fantasyland Expansion as it is built over the next few months!

I loved the Skyway. I did understand why they removed it, but that doesn't mean I've ever forgiven them for it. It was a Disney classic.

Do you know about the MesaVerde Times? Two guys spent
a lot of time inside the attraction documenting it's last few months/days...crude language at times but very cool behind the scenes footage...my favorites so far are the "magic paintbrush" that cleans the rollers on top of the ride vehicles and seeing the "orange machine" that provides the orange grove smell...

Yeah I think I spent the better part of a workday on that site several months ago. After a few hours of staring at the screen I realized it was time for lunch...boy did the time fly!

I'd be tempted to bring back Mr. Toad, or the original Figment, but the one I miss the most is Timekeeper. Thank goodness for videos on YouTube.

on this subject, does anyone remember a ride (i'm not sure which park), it was a pteradactyl. kinda reminded me of a chairlift. i could never go on it because you had to have a small child accompany you to get on the ride. i was childless, thought about borrowing someone else's, but these days, that might of got me into trouble. so, years later when i had my own child, i thought... finally i get to do this ride! where did it go? i know i'm not crazy, i remember several trips being jealous of families, it was just my wife and i (no way she'd pass for a small child... ), so i could only watch as others enjoyed the ride. anybody know/remember this one?

Are you maybe thinking of the Pteradactyl ride over at Universal's IOA? It sounds just like what you've described.

Momeja is right. It's in the Jurassic Park area of the Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios, Orlando.

Bring back the original Journey Into Imagination with Figment throughout. I don't like the current one.....It stinks!

you know, several years ago, i was going to universal for a day each time i stayed at wdw. i don't do it anymore. i'll bet your right. strange how the mind fuses memories together. well, i don't see myself bringing a 1 year old and a 3 year old to universal. so i guess i'm destined to miss out on that one. thanks for the memory jog!

I agree, but it's at least better than version #2. That one was horrible.

It's a toss up between Horizon and World of Motion. I would like to see World Of Motion again, but more so I think it should have the starting point leading up to Fast Track. The history of travel through today.
