I thought I would get "boo"-ed if I suggested that, MadEye. But I do agree! You could do so much more with that area than those cars and their nasty gas fumes!
I'm totally with you guys on this one. Level it flat and replace it with something E-ticket awesome.

And since my suggestion seems to have already come up, how about some work in Adventureland as well? It never seems to hold guests anymore. I just wish there was room behind it to expand like in Fantasyland, but there really isn't, sadly.

Speaking of Adventureland, get rid of Magic Carpets of Aladdin. It used to be wide open, now it's a bottleneck.

Scuttlebutt has it that Carpets will be retooled into the second Dumbo for the Dueling Dumbos in Fantasyland. Or so I've heard.

Heard that too. I'll believe it when I see it and I'm not holding my breath.

Can we really improve on perfection, guys?

That's what worries me about the Fantasyland refurb.

I agree!! I hate the way that Speedway smells. All those fumes can't be good for us guests to breath (and not environmentally friendly in the least!).

Demolish the Speedway!
You can ride these type things at any half-cocked park across the US---tear it down and build something totally awesome. Shoot, there's enough land there, might even be able to build two attractions.

That nonsense has to be very maintenance intense, and yes, it STINKS! The fumes are awful...

I hate it too!!! Plus they aren't very futuristic are they?

------------------------
- I would make Tomorrowland more futuristic - I think they don't do this b/c technology moves so fast these days & they would get a new ride/attraction up and it would be outdated in a short amount of time

- Update Carousel of Progress

- Take out Stitch's Great Escape & replace with a good ride/movie/attraction

- Remove Tomorrowland Speedway & add another ride in that space

- Remove Bay Lake Tower (sorry DVC people, but it totally invades the skyline of the park when you're in there)

- Redo Country Bears Jamboree

- Remove Tom Sawyers Island & retheme area

- Remove Swiss Family Treehouse & add something new

- Bring back the cool shops in Main St. USA (like the magic shop and the penny arcade)

- Open a new counter service restaurant where Tomorrowland Noodle Station is

and that's all!! It's not too much to ask is it?? Only millions and millions of dollars and an undetermined amount of time! Did I mention that I'll probably complain because of all the construction?? LOL

Oh, and bring back 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, improve Autopia (good idea still, just need to hit the ‘refresh’ button), a reimagineered Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, an updated CoP, and something based on time travel for tomorrowland (that will never not be futuristic).

I think that if a movie can truly bring to life the original intent of the attraction...it can be used.

Perfect example is the dead horse I keep beating...use "Meet the Robinson's" to revamp the Imagination Pavilion. Of course that is in Epcot though.

As far as the MK...I would update CoP without getting away from the original feeling of the 1964 version. I would bring back the Skyway in some fashion (even though I know it can no longer go to Tomorrowland). I would change POTC to be like the one at DLR...with a restaurant and all. I used to hate the look of Fantasyland compared to its counterpart in Anaheim...but with the new Fantasyland that is on the way...I can put that to rest.

Scrap the Speedway and replace it with an uberleet version of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride ... I'd say use the same sort of theming as the classic, but with the ride system from Test Track or Dinosaur ;)

If they were to replace Autopia with Aquatopia from Tokyo Disneyland, that would be incredible!

1. Popcorn would come in a perfect rectangle box with a cover like in the old days and cost $1.00 after tax.
2. Triple the drinking fountains in the park and post them in the park guide.
3. Install a pathway on the outside perimeter of the park to allow patrons to exit without walking down Main street.
this would also alleviate congestion during parade times.
4. Add an additional train Station to the Railroad and run the trains after the Fireworks.
5. Add nighttime entertainment to all of the lands. "Lots of Music".
6. Ban cigarette smoking at all parks. Or rename the smoking areas to (Addiction Stations) Lets show our Children how smoking is not glamorous it’s an addictive drug, enough said.
7. Add more people eater rides like the TTA
8. Add additional themed table service restaurants in each land.

8. 3 additional c ticket rides.
9. And last but not least Ban Miley Sirus from all parks, and television.
