How many Subsonic listeners honeymooned at WDW?

Post by MouseMan » May Mon 03, 2010 2:36 pm

Ok, last week there was a post about an upcoming honeymoon at Disney World. Among the congrats and suggestions there were a lot of posts saying that they had honeymooned at WDW also. So I thought it would be fun to get a count.

As for me, my WDW Honeymoon was in April '94! My wife and I have been back seven times after that with our kid(s) in tow!

hmm I know my parents honeymooned in WDW which was long before Mark86's and my time :D Maybe, just maybe that is why I like Disney so much.

Whenever I get married, I really do hope to have my honeymoon in WDW also.

DW and I celebrated our honeymoon in WDW and first anniversary in Disneyland.

We've been every year since then, last year's trip being the 6th as a couple and our 10th overall. We celebrated by staying at Bay Lake Tower for the first time, nearly a year to the day after buying into DVC on a whim.

Skipping this year for a mega-blowout next. :-D

DW and I celebrated our honeymoon in WDW and first anniversary in Disneyland.

We've been every year since then
 That is what we did!
We wanted to spend every anniversary at a Disney park...it's mostly Disneyland since that's where we're closest to, but after the 3rd or 4th year, we were forced to give in and not be there directly on our anniversary....some years we couldn't make it at all. :(

2nd anniversary in EPCOT only (long story)
3rd and beyond DL (1 year of going 5 days early, a few years of going 2 weeks late and a few of not going at all)

I hope I can in the future :D

DW and i got married at the wedding pavilion 6/4/09, spent one day in the parks and then went on a Disney Cruise, so technically i guess we did get one day of honeymoon at WDW!! we stayed at the honeymoon suite on concierge level at the wilderness lodge! that was cool...

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at WDW 26+ years ago and still going strong.
My parents (who are at POFQ at this very moment) spent their honeymoon at DL 50+ years ago. I guess it's just in our blood.

DH and I fell in love in WDW in Jan '05 and honeymooned there in Dec. '06. We stayed club level at the Poly.

We've been back every year for our Ann. (sometimes twice in one year!) We're both addicts, what can I say?! :D

My husband and I compromised. We spent our first night married on August 9, 2008 at Caribbean Beach and ate lunch there the next day before leaving on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Then on our way back home we spent several hours at Downtown Disney looking around and ate at Portobello's. I think it counts. :)
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Future Gal and I honeymooned there in 2001. It was the first time either of us stayed in a Disney resort.

When I marry, not only will the wedding (well, the ring ceremony after the temple sealing) be at WDW but so will the honeymoon! I have it all planned out... just waiting on a guy...

Loving wife and I were engaged during wishes, honeymooned there a year later and have been back several times with kids in tow. In 19 days we will expose our latest addition to the magic of Walt Disney World.

awww i'm not married yet... :(

funny that I have no desire to spend wedding/honeymoon/anniversaries at WDW or DLR...

However, I DO have a very special (non-Disney) place where I want my wedding to be held... if only...
