Frankly, I kinda agree with Pluto23 - my favorite would be whichever one I am staying at as long as it's at WDW. I've been to many and enjoyed them all. Some of the fun is trying a new and different resort when you go.

I never thought about that. It's so true! I enjoy the hotel I'm at better then the last.

Pop Century is definitely my favorite Value Resort. Riverside has my heart in the moderate level. For the deluxe I've only ever stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, back when it was brand new. I did really like it, the lobby is amazing, but honestly I'd rather save the cash and stay at Riverside. If I had oodles of money I'd like to stay at the Beach Club, if only to be so close to Epcot and so I can eat at Cape May every night.

We have never stayed at a Value. My wife says lets just stay offsite instead of a value. We almost made it last November, but instead stayed at Hotel Royal at DownTown Disney area. Very nice rooms. One day.

I really think that if it is between a value and off property that the value is the better deal. The amenities that Disney offers are just too good to pass on. The extra magic hours, bus service, and magical express. You might end up spending a little bit more, but in the long run you will come out ahead. Especially if there is a promotion going on.

In our case, I normally have an annual pass, so no parking. We have a 6 1/2 hour drive, so no magical express. We do miss the EMH, but we can work around that. Now its a tougher choice to stay Value or basically a moderate off site for less. We do miss being in the magic all the time by staying off property.

My top two favorites are Coronado Springs and Polynesian. But I also really like Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club, and Caribbean Beach. Though I'm happy to stay at any of them really.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!
