I would have a tough time choosing between World of Motion and Horizons. And I love the "O, Canada" song too Sharonofwindham - almost all of the French I know is from that song

It's a different show now starring Martin Short. The song makes a cameo appearance at the end, but its a modern version that really sucks compared to the original. It's done by some Idol winner.

I find the new one too silly - it wastes time too much on Martin Short and not enough time on Canada. I like the original vocal track instead of the new singer. I wouldn't go so far as to say it sucks, but its inferior replacement compared to the original. I fear what will happen to Impressions du France some day...

I loved Horizons but my memory is abit fuzzy about the ride as it's so long ago, but I think I'd bring back Timekeeper.

I got to see the original Timekeeper (a.k.a "the Visionarium") in Disneyland Paris. It was all in French, but they had these headphones you could wear and this was this dial you could use to switch it to English, German, Spanish, Japanese, etc. Also, the French film was longer and included the hot-air balloon in Moscow's Red Square and the airport tarmac scene with Gerard Depardieu.

I would have said Mr. Toad's Wild Ride but I hear I can go do that on the West coast. So, I would say either the original Journey Into Imagination or Horizons... or, if it counts the WOL pavilion.

Oh man. I guess I would pick Alien Encounter so I can give it a proper goodbye. I thought it was always going to be there the last time I was at the world. Next time I go to Disney World, I'm going to ride every ride as if it was it's last day. Not kicking chairs or hollering the entire time, but just enjoying all of the details.

Horizons would be a very close second. I miss that ride too.

I agree with Horizons. I think it's topic - where and how we're living in the future - is still very topical subject for Future World of EPCOT. Something there should deal with this topic - and nothing does.

I think the problem with the Horizons ride is that the future is changing too rapidly now. Technology is raging forward at an unbelievable rate. It would cost way too much to be constantly updating the attraction and still maintain a Disney level of excellence.

I always thought it would be cool to do it as a counterpart to the CoP in the MK. Where CoP looks at progress of the past, Horizons carousel would show you what could be in the future. They could even probably fit it into the old Wonders of Life. Turn Body Wars into the "Horizons One" shuttles that could take journeys to locations under water, out in the desert, or into Space (like you used to get at the end of the original ride, but expand it and put it to a simulator). Wonders of Life's old pavillion as such a generic exterior that it could be re-used for any attraction.

My instant thought would be Mr Toad and the 10,000 Leagues. But i have o say that after reading all the posts and doing a quick trip to youtube and watching the original Journey into Imagination, Its running a close second. I had forgotten alot of little things about that ride and the upstairs. It really made an impact on me as a child and my dreams of becoming an artist.
