My favorites were Max (stag), Buff (buffalo) and Melvin (Moose).

The animal heads (Max, Buff and Melvin) can be seen hidden in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh dark ride at Disneyland, which replaced the Country Bear Playhouse, on the back of the wall that separates the Heffalumps and Woozles scene and the Honey Heaven scene.

Big Al. Because he reminds me of my late grandfather.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I like the little cub sitting on the edge of the stage holding his own teddy bear.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Another vote for Big Al. My grandfather's name is Al, and he has the deep scratchy voice and everything. We got him a Big Al beer mug, and I always think of him when we're at the Country Bears.

My wife and I are also fans of the mounted animals. We have our own Melvin -- a plush moose head we picked up in Canada in EPCOT.

You just can't help but to love Big Al...but I do love the Five Bear Rugs too...especially Tennessee on the thang.

I've always been partial to The Five Bear Rugs... Zeke, Zeb, Ted, Fred and a bear named Tennessee
