That's true! And what little they did (and "little" hardly describes the total lack of effort) was barely noticeable. At the time I heard the excuse for not celebrating was because they were still doing the 1.5 year long celebration of Disneyland's 50th. That was lame. I hope they don't let the 30th go by ignored!!!

Did you that Disney developed clear hydraulic fluid.
When Walt was showcasing great moments with Mr Lincoln at the 1964 worlds fair in New York (Queens). The animatronic Mr Lincoln sprung a leak. He leak red hydraulic fluid, (all hydraulic fluid was red up until that time). The leak was from a hose in his head and the animatronic Mr Lincoln collapsed. It looked like a Ford theater replay. In attendance were the governors of Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana. They were horrified.
Walt had WED develop clear hydraulic fluid so it would never happen again.
