Pub Crawl in DCA

Any of you ever do a pub crawl through DCA? I found a blog post about it.

Looks kind of fun. We're thinking about hitting the Cove for lobster nachos and Thai lettuce wraps and a drink or two, and also the Carthay Circle Lounge to maybe have a Scotch Spritz (supposedly one of Walt's favorites) and a light meal. Wondered if any of you had done this, too.

This whole traveling with no kids thing is becoming more appealing. I mean, I'd love to take the girls, but since that's not possible I'm enjoying this trip planning. And the girls are completely ok with us taking a trip by ourselves.

I believe that is a "scotch mist", and apparently walt had terrible taste considering the stuff they use retails for about $15 a bottle.

Though this is a s*it crawl, two stops and there is food. You have failed at the crawl.

Yes, Scotch Mist. I don't drink scotch, but for some reason it sounds intriguing.

Thanks, btw, Wizz, for raining on my parade again and demonstrating your exceedingly superior intellect and knowledge. I was beginning to be let down because you hadn't been condescending toward me in a rather long time.

Oh sorry about that, I wasn't actually aiming at you, I was shaming the tourist blog trying to call a "roving dinner" a pub crawl. No offense intended.

I forgive you.
