We did... Hyatt Place Anaheim near the Convention Center. It's less than a mile to the pedestrian gate, and just opened last summer. We were contemplating the Hyatt Regency Orange County, but there wasn't a room with a king-sized bed available on points (which is what we're using) and Hyatt Place had that available. So, that's what we chose. We stay at a Hyatt Place when we go to South Bend (Mishawaka, actually) and really like it. It's my favorite moderate chain. ANYway, it's right on Harbor close to the Convention Center.

Using points is saving us a TON. 5 nights "free" (we'll have to pay parking if we rent a car, and of course if we get any food or beverages at the bar) amounts to like $1,000. 8-)

So here's my next question: Where can we get a decent price on park tickets? We want 4-day park-hoppers. I see Mousesavers has them for 5% off gate price. It's a nice discount but not amazing. Undercover Tourist doesn't even have them! I haven't checked the AAA price.

Suggestions?

Sounds great ~ I'll be interested to hear what people say about tickets. I just bought them at the park and nearly fainted from sticker shock :( never even thought about trying to get them ahead of time, but then again, the trip plans were so up in the air almost the whole time.
