Agreed! The concept was good but the follow-through stank it up big time!webcookie wrote:Oh, I agree about all the bad things about the Rocket Rods for sure. I'm sad they destroyed the Peoplemover track for it and I'm sad that they did not take the time to plan it properly. It could have been an awesome ride. But I thought it was fun, despite the two hour wait.Club33Hopeful wrote:Wow. You must be in the minority on that one! The Rocket Rods embody everything that was wrong with the parks before they started turning it around. From poor planning, to cutting the budget for creating the ride, to poor maintenance, to more down time then it was actually up... Not to mention, it replaced a lot of people's favorite piece of Tomorrowland, the Peoplemover.

my favorite ride is the haunted mansion...1) because you can see things that you hadn't seen before on the ride. and 2 because i love to walk through the ride and take my time doing it before i have to get on the buggies. that's why not so busy days are great because i dont have a crowd coming right behind me rushing me. it's fun to just look at things. that's why getting stuck on the mansion is great because i get to look around longer. last time i went (on bats day, which was awesome) i went on it 14 times. i just couldn't get enough. and grim grinning ghosts is just such an awesome song to sing over and over again! and i can't wait for hmh because i forgot how great it is until i heard all the music from it a few days ago.

My favorite ride in DL is Indy, and my favorite ride in DCA is TTMM. I just wish the lines were shorter for these two.

Haunted Mansion for sure!!! There are so many details, that even though I've been on it so many times, I still see something new. Plus it's easy for small details to be added that only someone with a keen eye would notice without taking away from the whole attraction.
I also like Indy and Buzz
In DCA, Soarin' and TSM are my faves! (and although its not a ride, I love sitting in the Animation Academy learning how to draw characters...not well, but I have fun anyway )

I love the Animation Academy because it's nice and dark and I can watch the various Disney scenes on the screens while sitting with air conditioning.MmeLeota wrote:In DCA, Soarin' and TSM are my faves! At Disneyland there can be no question that their version of POTC is the best ride at the resort. I'm a huge fan of WDW's ToT and both Mansions but every time I make it back to CA. which is years between visits (eastcoaster) I an absolutly enchanted and spellbound by how perfect and charming this ride is. Inside, outside, Blue Bayou and all. It makes me sad when I'm on WDW's version which is much more often.
