Space Mountain:
1) My favorite ride to work. It's was so technical and required all the cast memebers to work as one entity
2) I find a that the combination of a rollercoaster with lots of quick turns in the dark works great
3) It's it's own theme, it's not taken from a disney movie or anything. There's no expectations for it to live up to other than it's own.

Well, I would vote except my favorite ride is not listed: Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye!!!!!

OK, I'll vote for Space Mountain! That's my next favorite ride. Can't believe it's still closed for almost another year! :(

so, subsonic added Indy to the poll... but after I voted for Space!!! Not a choice that I regret, 'cause I like Space alot. So, can somebody else vote for Indy for me??? So it gets the representation it so richly deserves???

:D

This is a slightly-off-topic aside, but I think that the rides that aren't based on any movies are the best. I'm a little disappointed that they pulled out Circlevision to make a Buzz-Lightyear themed ride.

My favorite ride was "Adventure Thru Inner Space," though it's been gone a while now. If anyone's interested, take a look at this web site: http://themightymicroscope.com/ for a tribute to this great ride.

I'd say my CURRENT favorite ride is good ol' Pirates.

OMFG, that site is so nice!!!

And yes, I'm getting sick of Disney needing to change every ride to fit movies. Living Seas becoming Finding Nemo.. Pah.

Yes, it's very well done! That guy has made an animated movie that simulates the old ride exactly. That's a very impressive achievement!

The Peoplemover... :(

I miss that ride, It was the one ride that didn't scare me at Disneyland in my early years. I need to make my way to WDW and ride their version.

Indiana Jones has to be my favorite ride though, when that first opened I was about 7-8 years old and I loved that ride.

Now that Space Mountain is closed for another year  my favorite now is a tie between Splash Mounatin and Matterhorn Mountain. SPlash because of its well designed facade and the music. Matterhorn because there's no roller coaster like it. Awsome!

never been to DL, so can't really vote... but if we extend it to WDW, probably Splash Mountain, cause of the music and theme...
